illinois online therapy

Now Offering Virtual Therapy and Online Counseling in Illinois

Are you feeling anxious and worried? Having trouble controlling your thoughts? Unable to sleep? There is a lot of uncertainty right now leading to increased feelings of anxiety. I can help. I work with children and adults of all ages and I offer online therapy services for all Illinois residents. If you are interested in services during the coronavirus pandemic or want to try out virtual therapy, tele-therapy or online counseling may be the right choice for you.

Therapy online can seem strange at first, but after the first few minutes it feels normal for most people. Some people are so comfortable they say it's just like FaceTime counseling or Skype therapy right at home where they are most comfortable.

Due to the coronavirus (COVID19) many changes are being enacted to make it easier to engage in virtual therapy, making online counseling more accessible to everyone. I am in network with Blue Cross Blue Shield of IL (BCBSIL) and able to help process claims for out of network insurance companies. Health care professionals and other essential personnel may be able to receive a discounted rate during the coronavirus outbreak.

Virtual therapy is a great way to meet your needs when coming to the office isn't possible. You can check my availability below. In order to accommodate your work, school or parenting schedule, I offer early morning, late evening and weekend online appointments. Early morning online appointments are available from 6:00 a.m. until 9:00 a.m., and evening online appointments start at 6:00 p.m. until as late as 11:00 p.m. Click below to schedule video counseling sessions online. Daytime appointments from 9:00 a.m. until 2:00 p.m. are available on a limited basis (please call for availability).

Once scheduled for an online therapy session, you will receive confirmation of your appointment via email along with a link to access my client portal so you can fill out a few documents that only takes about 10 minutes. The day of your appointment, you will receive an email 10 minutes before your online counseling appointment starts with a link to your online therapy session. Phone and tablet users will need to download an app to use called Telehealth for Simple Practice a
