Feeling anxious or worried? Are you scared and irritable?Thinking too much about what might happen? Having trouble turning your thoughts off or thinking about anything else? Are your thoughts keeping you up at night or making you sleep all day? Unsure of how to deal with the world being turned upside down? If you are struggling with making sense of the world and adjusting your life, you are not alone! These are definitely unprecedented times and we have no history or prior experience to draw on, making it all the more frightening and uncertain. What history does tell us is that we will get through this, one way or another, and it will be ok. Online therapy sessions can help when you feel alone, need to connect or want help with anxiety and depression.

ONLINE COUNSELING CAN HELP
Feeling alone? We are all struggling to figure out this brand new world that we live in, and sometimes it's really scary. People of all ages are trying to adjust the best way they can. Children may be cranky, have trouble sleeping, cry more easily, or show changes in their behavior or attitude. High school seniors are struggling to get through a new kind of senioritis while mourning the end of their childhood and dealing with college and work-life beginnings being put on hold. College students feel uncertain and new grads don't know where to start. And most people aren't sure if they can manage finances and juggle everything else. Our senior adults are terrified and feel alone. I can help you work through your feelings during COVID19 and gain a sense of control in a time when everything feels out of control and chaotic. An anonymous quote that I find hopeful during these times reminds me that "Sometimes in the winds of change we find our true direction."
HOW DOES ONLINE COUNSELING WORK?
Online therapy can be intimidating and many people start out feeling self-conscious, myself included. I have found that covering the video feed of myself helps me a lot. Otherwise, I tend to focus on how much I talk with my hands and how I should really stop doing that, LOL! Some of my clients let the camera point to the ceiling so they feel better. There are a lot of options and I am very flexible as we all try to figure this out. Check out more about Online Therapy below:
